Error 553 : Invalid address

What does this error mean?​

The recipient address does not comply with the RFC 5321 standard, so it is impossible to find the recipient server.

What can be done about it?​

Correct the recipient's address and then resend the message.

Check:

  • any typos or invalid special characters (e.g. spaces)
  • the @ character is present and correctly positioned
  • there is a dot . before the domain extension (.com, .fr, etc.).
