MAPI / Outlook (reliability/performance)​

  • Fixes and optimizations to improve the reliability and speed of bulk reconnections for Outlook clients (for example, after a server restart):
    • Added new server settings to adjust the management of MAPI connections, sessions, and queues during periods of high reconnection traffic.
    • Implementation of a throttling mechanism (admission gate) that limits the number of connections processed simultaneously during a massive influx, to prevent server overload and enable a faster and more stable recovery.
    • Reduce the time it takes to create an Outlook session (caching, asynchronous processing, batching of folder checks) during these peak loads.
  • Fixes: Unnecessary and repeated corrections to system file access permissions upon reconnection.
  • Fixes: A bug that could prevent the directory from functioning properly after restarting the index database (keydb), causing some records to be unlocatable.
