Setting Calendar Preferences
You can choose your display, time management and reminder preferences in your general Calendar settings.
To do this, go to Preferences - Calendar - General.
Adjusting the appearance of your calendar
You can choose to:
- start the week on Monday or Sunday
- display weekends or not
- display declined events or not
- set your default calendar view to day, week, month or list view
You can change this view temporarily in the action bar at the top of the Calendar.
Setting working hours
Default day start and end times as well as working days are used to set the time periods BlueMind will consider as working hours.
As a result, when someone uses availability search or wants to invite you to a meeting, for example, they will be informed whether the event takes place during your working hours.
Setting reminder preferences
You can choose the following default reminder settings:
- for standard events (with a specific duration): from 1 to 1000000 seconds, minutes, hours or days before the event
- for all-day events: a specific time and number of days before the event
- reminder type: email or notification
When a reminder setting is disabled, the reminder field is left empty and the dropdown list is set to "Seconds".
These settings apply to new events only, they are not retroactive and do not apply to existing events.
