Managing Account Identities
BlueMind lets you create several "identities" for the same account, each with a different label, email address and signature.
Identities are managed in your mail settings. To edit or add identities, go to Preferences - Webmail - Identities.
Modifying an identity
BlueMind automatically creates a default identity. To modify it, click "Manage" and fill in the fields:
Display name: the name that will appear when you send messages
Label: the label is used to identify the identity in the list -- one email address and display name may be used by several identities
Email address: you can choose an email address that will be assigned or shared -- domain aliases, mailboxes, etc.
Signature: the signature is in HTML format, i.e. it can include images, logos, etc.
Creating an identity
"Adding an identity" lets you create other identities with, for example, a different signature. You can also choose a default identity, i.e. the identity that will be used when you create a new message.
The possibility to create an identity with a non-BlueMind address will be available in an upcoming version.
Setting up the "From" field
To display and select a sender (identity) when you send messages, check the option "Always show the "From" field (sender)".
"Automatically select "From" field (sender)" lets you specify when the application can automatically select the best-suited identity: Never, Only for replies or For replies and new messages.
You can also show the "From" field (sender) only when needed by selecting the "Show "From" field" in the toolbar of the composer.
